- Shade adjustment: Auto (shade leveladjusts automatically depending on arc intensity) or Manual (user adjusts), adjust in increments of +/- 0.5 via external or internal controls
- Shade Deviation: When using Auto shade, +/- deviation (fine adjustment) can be adjusted in 0.1 increments to up +2.0/-2.0
- Welding mode: Variable shade 9-14
- Cut mode: Variable shade 4-8
- Grind mode: Locks lens to light mode (shade 3), activate on/off via external button or internal controls
