A high efficiency, remote mount, oil aerosol removal filter for the fine-filtration of compressed air. It will remove oil aerosols, condensed moisture, smoke, rust and scale particles. The inlet and outlet ports of the filter canister are ¼” and the canister is designed for use with flexible air hose in conjunction with a remote bracket mount. The filter unit takes replacement element M-723 or a standard 2-ply toilet roll of the correct size. The M-723 element is a roll of absorbent, high-wet-strength cellulose fibres wound on a moisture stable polyethylene core. When toilet rolls are used as filter elements, care must be taken to see that the dimensions of the roll are no less than those of the M-723 element or by-passing will occur.
