When equipped with a new standard battery (TR-630) and new particulate filter (TR-6710E), the system has a duration of 6 - 12 hours at standard flow setting. System duration will vary based on battery age, filter loading, filter selection and user selected air flow setting. The TR-630 battery will charge in less than 4 hours. For a rechargeable battery back intended for use with 3M™ Powered Air Respirators, use Batteries for 3M™ Powered Air Respirators. Battery operating time is based on an appropriately charged new battery, with new filters being used at room temperature and moderate work rates. Extremes of temperature, the age and cycle of the battery, charge status, filter clogging, and high work rates may negatively impact operating time. If the application is sensitive to operating time it is recommended to consult with 3M to determine which type of battery should be used.
